Its that time of year again Spreckles park family!!! We are
excited to announce SPLL family night at the Banner Island Ballpark on Saturday
April 22. The Ports take on the Visalia Rawhide on Asparagus night! There will
be fireworks after the game!
Here is what to know for little league night on April 22:
1. Kids who would like to participate in the parade should be at the ballpark by 5:30pm. This is to avoid tardiness as we must be prompt.
2. The parade will take place on the field, starting at the player tunnel. We will meet by sections 119 and 120.
3. Parents are NOT allowed on the field. Players and coaches only.
4. Let the players and coaches know that they will be on the video board so they should smile and wave!
5. The parade will start approximately around 6:25pm no later than 6:30pm. Please have players and coaches at the meeting area by 6:15PM.
6. Once the gates open at 5:30pm, have the families go to their sections/seats and the coaches should gather their players on the concourse.
7. We could introduce each team, or we could introduce them as "Spreckels Park Little League". It's up to you and the board to decide. If you want each team called, I will need team names and we will start from youngest to oldest.
10. Lastly and most important, let's all have fun! This will be a memorable experience for everyone involved. But we must remember that there is a game to be played so we must do things in a timely manner. Please stress that if a child is late, they will possibly miss participating in the parade.
