Parents, Players, and Coaches
Little League International announced last week that all of their international tournaments (All Stars) have been cancelled.
MUSD also announced that their school campuses will not be opening until July 30th.
With all of this said, it is with extreme regret and displeasure to announce that we will not be able to continue with the 2020 season. We would love nothing more than to get out there and watch our kids play baseball, but unfortunately we can't control any of this.
If you already paid for this season in full and plan on returning this next year, we will be WAIVING YOUR REGISTRATION FEES! You will only pay for the cost of the new uniform. It is our hope that we can continue right where we left off as far as funds go.
If you did not pay in full or are a new player next season, full registration fees will apply.
Please try to understand that nobody could have seen this pandemic coming and unfortunately, we had to spend the majority of the funds to get the season started. These included Farm/T-Ball Dugouts, new scoreboards for Minors/Majors, new dirt for all fields at Brock Elliott, fully stocking the snack bar, Uniforms, Registration fees, Insurance fees, and the list goes on.
For anyone hoping to play fall ball, I know Tracy LL usually does a fall ball league and others around the district might as well. You are more than welcome to register with them, of course that is if the shelter in place is lifted. I will keep everyone informed on what leagues will offer a fall ball season.
I'd also like to acknowledge and congratulate our 8th grade juniors that will be promoting to high school! We will miss seeing you at the fields but it was all of your coach’s pleasure to watch you go from T-Ballers to responsible young men. We wish you the best in high school! They are:
Jax Ballard
Santino Flores
Michael Gilmer
Scott Hamilton
Teagan Hutchison
Troy Morrow
Drake Neuner
Wylie Pinto
Izrael SanNicolas
Cohen Schmidt
Zachary Walmer
Congratulations to you all!!
If you're interested in joining the board next year and being part of these important decisions, please email Kevin O'Neill at [email protected]. Or Charlotte Stackpole at [email protected]
Managers, I will send you a separate email for the time and date of equipment drop off.
Lastly and most importantly, I hope that all of our families are safe and are doing well. Trust me, we miss all of the kids and parents in our community! Again please try to remember that we are helpless in this situation and is no fault of our own. It is with sincere hope that you all return back next year stronger than ever!
Respectfully,
Paul Diego
